French Burger

La Penderie

Paris, France

fr5

La Penderie Restaurant serves up some gastropub style grub with an amazing burger included on the menu. It has been identified as one of the Best in Paris.

La Penderie (literally meaning ‘The Wardrobe’, after the fashion showrooms that dot Etienne Marcel’s side-streets). On the outside you’ll find an 80-seater terrace over-looking the street; while inside, city hubbub gives way to exposed stone walls, industrial-chic light fittings, converted sewing machine tables and ever-changing art exhibitions by local artists.

On the plate expect lashings of comfort food like deep-fried cheese bites, burgers bursting with onions, cheese and sauce, and an alternately crackly and creamy Carambar (caramel) crème-brulée – all preferably washed down with the house cocktail, ‘Amour en Cage’ (pink champagne with an edible hibiscus flower).

Regular live concerts and DJ nights complete the offerings, making La Penderie one of the funkiest places around Châtelet for food, drink and merriment right now.

Iceland Burger

I would like to introduce the most fancy and creative burger from Iceland:

Hamborgarafabrikkan

IC7

Yes, it’s Hamboragarafabrikkan, which means hamburger factory. It offers Iceland’s best selection of gourmet hamburgers with a nice selection of salads, meat courses and delicious desserts. And of course, it only uses 100% fresh high-quality ingredients, directly from Icelandic nature.

The restaurant offers 15 different kinds of hamburger. Miss Reykjavík, for example, is a chicken burger topped with mango-yogurt salsa. The Rescue features toppings from pepperoni to mesquite sauce to green and red chiles. But The Factory burger, a quarter pound of Icelandic beef topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and the Factory sauce is one of the simplest on the menu.

Tip: try the lamburger first of its kind in Iceland. You will hardly believe your taste buds!

The restaurant is located across the street from Höfdi house, Reykjavik, Iceland

Hongkong Burger

Let’s fly to Asia, Hongkong is one of the most famous destination for food and of course Burger!

The Butchers Club Burger

 hk5

The Butcher’s Club was launched in 2013 by a group of Hong Kong chefs and butchers as a space for cooking classes, dining, and butchery. There are now seven locations throughout the city, all dedicated to high-quality dry-aged beef, with the Wan Chai outpost focusing on beer, bourbon, and burgers. There is only one option on the menu: a bacon cheeseburger made from Australian Black Angus beef. But diners in the know can order off of the rotating (not-so) secret menu (you can view it online), that often includes selections like the Sriracha-fried Wu Tang Style or pulled pork-smothered Hogtown burgers.

Switzerland Burger

As promise, Switzerland burger is ready to serve.

Swit

Gerold Chuchi has some of the best burger in Zurich.

Located in a Hardbrucke alleyway adorned with hundreds of “floating” umbrellas, Gerold Chuchi offers a small but perfectly formed menu of burgers and homemade pasta. Rock up here for lunch or dinner on the go at one of the outdoor benches (they also do take-away), or plan to spend a bit longer and book a table at the restaurant proper on the first floor. The best bit? Gerold Chuchi is open all night Thursday-Saturday, catering to the clubbers at its sister venue Hive and other Zuri West party animals.

Japanese Burger

Please meet Blacows, a burger shop from Tokyo, Japan.

Japan burger

Blacows offers 15 Japanese style burgers, each with its own specialized toppings (consider the teriyaki glaze or the bacon-egg-and-cheese combo), aimed at striking a “golden proportion of flavor.” A lofty ideal, perhaps, but with Japanese Black Wagyu beef patties, Maison Kayser rolls, and add-ons like bacon made from enzyme-fed pork (touted as having positive beauty and health effects for the consumer), it seems attainable here. The atmosphere is comfortable and modern with the quirky inclusion of a Patty Factory window where you can watch skillful butchers at work—a testament to the quality of the beef and expertise of the staff.

This burger is grass-fed Black Angus burger topped with melted Vermont cheddar from a restaurant called “James” in Brooklyn, USA.
